Former merchandise station, Gare au Théâtre is a multidisciplinary place dedicated to contemporary creation located in the heart of the city, two RER stations from Paris. It is a meeting and creation tool that covers a total area of 3000 m2. Gare au Théâtre offers an eclectic program: Theater, dance, poetry, music, video, by articulating its season around highlights repeated each year in new forms and new content.
A sober architecture, railway style, which still bears the traces of its industrial past: stone facades, brick arches or palisades with shutters in drink. And in all, more than 1000 m2 of parquet.
It is a place very looks different from dance halls that we are used to being around. Located at the foot of the Vitry sur Seine RER station, the Gare au Théâtre offers all Sundays in 4 dance halls : salsa, rock, lounge and west coast swing lessons as well as an afternoon dance until 9 p.m.
As you enter this vast complex, you will discover these dance halls with good wooden floors and mirrors, sound system and above all a very beautiful space!
